James Brown Freebies in Glamour Magazine

The April 2010 issue of Glamour Magazine has some lovely James Brown freebies. There are 3 to choose from and are each worth £10. From the Intensively Glossy range you can choose from shampoo, conditioner or the rescue treatment.

I chose the rescue treatment (you get 100ml) and I may pick up the shampoo as well. You can of course by 3 copies of the magazine to get all 3 items. The rescue treatment can be used after shampooing so I think I'll skip the regular conditioner and pick up another magazine with the shampoo in it. I am a great believer of using products from the same range. I do believe that they are developed to work better togther.

I have never tried any James Brown products and am looking forward to trying them out. Hve you tried any James Brown stuff? What are your thoughts?

Nails of the Day

Here I am sporting OPI's Dancing in the Isles. I love this polish as it's not too bright/dark and perfect for every day wear. If you can wear nail polish to work then this would be a perfect choice:)






I have used a base coat and applied 2 coats of the OPI Dancing In The Isles. It applies really well like all OPI polishes that I have tried and it doesn't streak. It might even be my new fave lol:)

Most Expensive Item Tag

I tend to buy a lot of expensive items but probably my most expensive item is the By Terry Baume de Rose. This is an incredibly expensive lip balm (£32 at Space NK) and I just had to have it after Lollipop26 mentioned it.

As a result of it being so expensive I am "afraid" to use it up and therefore it is sitting in my bathroom collectiong dust lol. I really must start using it again as it is lovely:)

What is your most expensive item? Do you use it? Was it worth it? Or are you like me and don't want to use it all up lol.

Use Up Any Old Lotions and Potions

Do you have any old lotions/potions lying around? Maybe just a bit too far past their "best"? Things that you wouldn't dare put on your face but your not sure what to do with?

Recently I have found a good use for these to save them ending up in the bin and to treat a certain area of my body to some TLC.

I have been putting them on my feet and so far my feet haven't complained:)
