Skin Science Bio Active Eye Contour Cream Review

I was sent this eye cream for review purposes.

I have to say that I'm loving it.  It is a really nice, light cream, which sinks into the skin really quickly.  This makes it really good for day time use, especially if you are applying eyeshadow.  It sinks in without a trace.  I know a lot of people don't use eye cream in the morning but I think it's totally necessary to use it morning and night.  The eyes are real giveaways to your age and often show the first signs of aging.  Any product that will help in the war against wrinkles definitely needs to be applied twice a day.

What it does and How To Apply

"Apply twice daily with consistent circular movements onto the eye orbital area.  Allow 45 seconds to fully absorb into the thin, poreless skin that surrounds our eyes.  Quicklift (TM) will de puff, "open your eyes"
and rid you of persistant dark circles."

I have noticed a difference in my dark circles.  They are definitely reduced, so much so, that on a few occasions I have forgotten to use concealer as my foundation was enough to cover the dark circles.  Usually when I put on foundation it makes my dark circles look really obvious, but not any more!!  I haven't really noticed much de-puffing but I've been too fascinated by the dark circle miracle that I haven't been paying much attention to that part.

This product comes in a tube (15ml) and it has a pump which is great as it means easy application and no fingers being dipped into a jar.  Much more hygienic.  I find one pump too much though so I now have a knack of dispensing half a pump.  It took a bit of practice but I got there.

The big downside to this product though is the price.  It costs £75!  Definitely not for the faint hearted.  It is available from Harvey Nichols in the UK and you can check it out on their website here.

Will I be repurchasing?

Most likely not as I couldn't justify spending that amount of money on an eye cream.  Maybe one day, if I manage to get those 6 numbers right, I will be able to splash out on luxury, high end skin care.  I love skin care, probably more than makeup, and would love to be able to afford to splash out on great quality products like this.  However, for now, it's only something I can dream of.
